This data is only temporarily processed within technical logs that can be analyzed in order to optimize the website and the use thereof, e.g. to perform troubleshooting regarding the website. Criteria for determining the storage time

Different types of data can be stored with different amounts of time. The criteria that determine how long we store your data can be:

(a) How long do we need your personal data in order for us to provide you with the website and the services you have ordered? For example: If you have become a Member of GreenMerc, we store your information for as long as is necessary to manage your membership, i.e. until you decide to terminate your membership or delete your account. We review and update our retention periods for personal data regularly. The exception to this policy

Aggregated data is collected and processed using cookies to monitor and evaluate user trends on the website. For detailed information on how GreenMerc uses cookies, email [email protected]. We collect information about how users of our Service interact with GreenMerc in a way that means we cannot link data back to you. We use the anonymous information about how our Members and Visitors use our website and services for statistics, service improvement and service development. This data will be completely anonymous and does not constitute personal data. It may therefore be stored longer than your personal information. Anonymization means that we remove all parts of personal data that can be linked to you. Anonymous personal data also lacks everything that in the future may make it possible to reconnect data to you. This process of "depersonalization" of personal data goes one step further than the process of pseudonymization which means that anonymization makes it even more difficult to identify an individual than pseudonymization.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal information that you provide to another Member or Visitor through the Website or when you otherwise use third party services.

Changes and Updates to this Policy

We will update our Privacy Policy as necessary to reflect customer feedback, changes to the service or the updated interpretation of the legislation. When the message is updated, we'll show the latest update date at the top of the message. In the event of significant changes to this Privacy Policy or to how GreenMerc uses your personal information, we will notify you, on our website or by email, before the changes take effect, if required by law. Please read this Privacy Policy from time to time to stay informed about how GreenMerc protects your personal information and privacy.
